So the swine flu was/is in my city but i don’t know exactly how many people got it. Anyway I’ve now come down with something and i was just wondering if anyone knew of any differences between it and normal flu just for reassurance even though i doubt i have it? Read the rest of this entry »
Please don’t answer with ‘Mexico’. I already know this. I’m looking for specifically what caused swine flu.
I’ve seen like, hundreds of questions on here about Swine flu, but none seem to know exactly how it started or what it really is.
Is it like Mad Cow disease, or Bird Flu, or did a rampant pig bite someone therefore creating a flu? Did someone eat old ham and get swine flu?
And what are the supposed symptoms of this? Like, how did people know they had it if it was just regular ‘Flu-like’ symptoms? Read the rest of this entry »
Which would be the best hospitals offering Heart surgery and what do I have to watch out for?
I’m a good mom to an in tact family. The children are 9 and 6. Usually common sense parenting is a no brainer for me and I know what to include and what they don’t need to know based on age appropriateness. This is new territory and it’s an immediate family member, so I don’t want to exclude what they need to know, but to be too inclusive will only horrify them. How would you explain open heart surgery to children that young? Read the rest of this entry »
A very special person to me just had to have open heart surgery. She was my teacher a few years ago where my mom works and she has been almost like a second mother to me. Just a meaningful little present to let her know I am thinking of her. Read the rest of this entry »
Do you think that since we administer so many vaccines to people (with different types of immunities), we may have created a super resistant flu strain or swine flu?

Is there any rehabilitation centres focused on the treatment of depression? If so, where? Are there any in Canada?
What do they entail?
Does anyone have any recommendations for the treatment of depression? How do people recover, and become happy?
My friend has had a really difficult life, her father died when she was young (a very tragic accident) and her mother abandoned her and her siblings a few years afterwards. She has also been fighting with alcohol dependency and drug addictions. She’s been losing a lot of weight recently as well. Read the rest of this entry »
