i woke up this morning with swollen tonsils with white spots and a headache i also had a mild fever feeling this morning and it hurts when i swallow i think its tonsillitis witch i have ever had be for as i am away for christmas i dont have a doctor i will just like to know what antibiotics should i get?

it doesn’t neccesarily mean that you ahve to get your tonsils taken out…i have had my tonsils out but i had mine out because of all the strep throats i get a year….so i don’t think you have to get them out.. Continued…

i have noticed that i recently have been coughing up large amounts of phlegm and it has had some blood in it, Not huge amounts but enough to make me worried obviously. Is it a cause for concern?

If this is the first time, you won’t have to have your tonsils removed.
If you keep getting it, it could be the best thing to do. However, I had my tonsils out and hated it. I couldn’t eat or drink properly for about a month. I would have much preferred the tonsillitis.

woke up several nights ago in a lot of pain. loss of a lot of blood from bottom. lost weight in past 2weeks, have tonsillitis, dr gave injection for piles but that’s not what is wrong, to go for another examination, very tired and lethargic, not constipated. any ideas?

I’ve had acute tonsillitis since thursday. It’s really painful and i have a really bad..constant cough as well. I can withstand the pain, but the cough is getting on my nerves. It’s constant. It’s so annoying. How can I make it go away .. already taking cough mixture.
Should I go To school?
